| feel like a failure? good
God can't do much with someone who thinks they are so sucessful themselves..
G o d i s s u c e s s f u l . . and He's looking to give you s u c e s s .
This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.

God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
( when i see my failure, i smile knowing it is His sucess ) |

is folly and shame.."
said Shlomo
how often do I forget to listen? |

| Simple.
God never commanded us to be busy. God never commanded us to achieve.
Jesus walked a simple life. He never didn't have time for people. He was late on several occasions.
He was distracted by beggars. He was drawn back to a diseased unclean woman.
Jesus understood rest. He was simple.
He yoke was easy and His burden was light. It still is. |

| As I live for four years to recieve a piece of paper, a thought is born:
What reason is there for doing this, does it glorify God.
Why, yes, it does, it allows me to do what God wants me to do, if done right, oh course.
Great answer! but what does God want me to do. Does what he wants me to do require a piece of paper? Can i do what He wants me to do without a piece of paper? It then occured to me that glorifying God has nothing to do with college or even a career, for God could do all that i will do in college and all that i will do with that piece of paper in a matter of minutes (quite possibly faster). where does that then leave me? Why would God choose to draw out this long process of
sitting in classes and studying in a library only to the purpose of
paying bills and having a sucessful life. That can be finsihed by God
in a few short seconds. Could this be life? Could life then be to glorify God and live following Him. This might cause me to think a thought like, maybe He can use me as much tomorrow as He ever will, and I must only follow and reflect His righteousness.
I think that a Jew discoverd it first, saying "..seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
You see the kingdom of God is not a matter of paper and actions, its a thing of heaven. The paper and actions are God's. His rigtheousness is a matter of the soul and a matter of His glory. All these things are a part of the equation, they are a product of the equation.
